Storytime

We went to storytime at Eva Perry Library today with 3 (or 5 if you include the babies in the group) of our favorite friends! Ruby, Emma, Mikayla, Sophia, and Mason - the kids had a blast...maybe too much fun for a storytime ;)

Breakfast in Bed

Breakfast in bed! Some days the kids come into our bed and watch tv in the mornings. Today was one of those days. I decided to give them breakfast in bed, though I don't normally allow that! Kate asked for a cheese sandwich...um, ok. And Evan was eating Cheerios.

Rainy Day - BounceU

 It was a yucky, rainy day, so I took the kids to BounceU today (used a Groupon). Kids had fun! They were the oldest ones there. There was one other girl who was probably Evan's age, but otherwise, there were mostly 1-3 year olds. It's weird that my kids are becoming so old/big at these type of places! I remember having to chase them around and now I can actually relax a little bit.

This is the meltdown on the way home :) Tired girl, but she just won't nap!

Just A Nice Day With the Family

It was such a nice day today! We took a bike ride (no pictures of that unfortunately) and the kids played outside for a little bit. Here they are using their imaginations with the stones (that Will needs to put away)!

 Evan got a haircut today...here is the before (and I forgot to take a picture of the after!).

 Poor baby eyes! Looked awful this morning, but she is actually doing a LOT better tonight. No discharge at all since early this morning. Those drops are amazing!

Conjunctivitis

Kate woke up this morning with Conjunctivitis in both of her eyes. Started out with stuff coming out of her eyes and by the end of the day, her eyes were swollen almost shut with stuff oozing out. Poor baby. We called the dr this morning and they called in some eye drops for her. She hates the eye drops! But who likes putting something in their eyes?

We went to the mall today and the kids (and Mommy) had fun on the carousel! Kids have blue lips because they just finished eating blue lollipops. :)

More T-Ball

Evan had t-ball again today. He seems to really be learning about the game of baseball. However, when we were in the car on the way home, he said "Mom, can this be the last day of baseball?" When I asked him why, he said "Because I really just like trains."

We ate lunch at Tyler's Taproom today where K and E had me make sunglasses out of their Wiki Stiks.

Root Canal

No picture today because all that happened was that I got a root canal (and you don't want to see that!)! I am so tired of dental work!! I go back on Wednesday to get crowns and then hopefully I'm done for awhile. The root canal really wasn't all that bad though. Just had to keep my mouth open for over an hour, but I was able to listen to my music which made the time go by quicker.

Hoops 4 Hope and 3rd Birthday!

Since my mom defeated breast cancer almost 7 years ago, we have made it an annual event to attend the Hoops 4 Hope game at NC State. Today Kate joined us since it was her birthday! It's a great fundraiser and way to honor breast cancer survivors.

Long Day!

Kate's gymnastics class, last minute shopping for Kate's party, Mackenzie's swim meet, dinner with cousins, 2nd dinner to celebrate Alison's 30th birthday! Oh and I have laryngitis. Time for bed!

Valentine's Day

I woke up this morning to a card and these flowers from Will. I love that he got me flowers and that they weren't expensive roses! :)
Here are a few of the Valentine's Day crafts that the kids made at school.
We spent the morning with the Ingrahams at our house. Emma and Kate played nicely together while Evan did his boy stuff and Sophia did her baby stuff :)
We didn't do much to celebrate V-day tonight because I had to work at the hockey game. It was a nice, relaxing day though!

T-ball Fun

Evan is taking a t-ball class right now through Raleigh Parks and Rec. It's actually a really good little class. All of the kids seem like good kids so it makes it fun! Kate plays on the sidelines while Evan plays. Sorry I don't have good pics...better ones next week!

Park and a Walk

Today we went to Kids Together Park with the Svihovec crew. We took a long walk to the pedestrian bridge that goes over Hwy 1/64. The kids thought it was awesome! Next time we will both remember our double strollers! Long walk with 5 kids close to lunch time and only 2 single strollers. (Whining much??) :)
